Piercing Waiver Analytics

When your piercing template has Piercing Details turned on, the piercer records what was done at the end of each session: the body location, the jewelry brand, the type or style, the gauge, the size and the material. Piercing Waiver Analytics adds those records up so you can see which piercers are busiest, which placements clients ask for most, and which jewelry you're using most, which is handy for ordering stock.

This guide explains the two piercing sections of the Analytics screen: Piercing Artist Performance and Piercing Overview.

In short: the piercer fills in Piercing Details during the session → Analytics groups the entries by artist, location, brand, material, type, gauge and size → you pick a date range, filter as needed and read the leaderboard and the lists.

Where the data comes from

You never type anything into the Analytics screen. Every figure comes from the Piercing Details section the piercer completes on each submission. The jewelry choices they pick from are the ones you saved in the template's Piercing Details step (jewelry brands, jewelry types, gauge options, size options and material options), so the names in your charts are the names you set up there.

  • Artist name feeds Piercing Artist Performance.
  • Location, jewelry brand, type, gauge, size and material feed Piercing Overview.

The piercing sections appear on the Analytics screen once your account has a piercing template. Tap the Analytics card on the dashboard and scroll past the universal sections to find them.

Tip: keep the option lists in the Piercing Details step tidy. If "Implant-Grade Titanium" and "Titanium" are both saved as materials, they will show up as two separate bars here.

Piercing Artist Performance

This section shows how piercing work is spread across your team and who signed the most clients in the chosen period.

Element What it does
Date chips Calendar icon for a custom range, or 7 d, 30 d, 90 d, 180 d, 365 d.
TOP PERFORMER The piercer with the most submissions in the range, with their count and share of the total.
TOTAL SUBMISSIONS "Across all artists in period": every piercing submission with an artist recorded.
Search artists Type part of a name to narrow the leaderboard.
Waiver Forms dropdown Limit the figures to one or more piercing templates.
# Count / % Percentage Show the bars as raw numbers or as a share of the total.
Artist Leaderboard A bar per piercer, longest at the top, with a full-screen icon for long lists.

To read it: choose the range you care about, then switch to % Percentage to compare piercers against each other. Names are taken exactly as typed in Piercing Details, so an artist whose name was entered two ways appears twice.

When there are no piercing submissions with an artist in the range, the section shows an empty message instead of the leaderboard. Widen the range or clear the filters.

Screen needed: the Piercing Artist Performance section expanded on a phone, 90 d selected, with the TOP PERFORMER banner naming a piercer and an Artist Leaderboard of at least three names in # Count mode. Show: the TOP PERFORMER banner and the "x% of total" share.

Piercing Overview: the summary cards

"Locations, brands, and hardware trends." The top of the section gives you the headline numbers for the selected range.

Element What it does
Date chips Same chips as above.
Waiver Form Limit everything in the section to one or more piercing templates.
Total Piercings "Logged piercing entries in range." One submission can log more than one piercing, so this can be higher than the number of submissions.
Top Location The body location recorded most often, or "No entries yet" when nothing has been logged.
Top Brand The jewelry brand recorded most often.

Screen needed: the top of the Piercing Overview section on a phone, 30 d selected, with the Total Piercings, Top Location and Top Brand cards filled in (for example 12, Helix, Anatometal). Show: the three summary cards under the date chips.

Piercing Overview: filters and lists

Below the cards is a second Filters block that controls the three lists. Use it to answer specific questions, such as "which brands do we use for titanium labret studs?"

Filter What it narrows
Search locations, brands, or hardware… Type to find any value across the lists.
Locations Body locations recorded in the sessions.
Brands Jewelry brands from your template's Jewelry Brands options.
Types Jewelry types or styles, such as Labret Stud or Captive Bead Ring.
Materials Materials, such as Implant-Grade Titanium or 14K Gold.
Gauges Gauge (thickness) options.
Sizes Size (length or diameter) options, such as 8 mm or 3/8 in.
Reset icon (↻) Clears every filter in this block and returns the lists to their defaults.

Screen needed: the second Filters block of Piercing Overview on a phone, with the search box, the six dropdowns (All Locations, All Brands, All Types, All Materials, All Gauges, All Sizes) and the reset icon visible, one dropdown showing a selected value. Show: the reset icon next to the search box.

The filters feed three lists, each with its own full-screen icon:

List What it shows
Body Locations "Most pierced anatomy": a bar per location, most popular first.
Jewelry Brands "Manufacturer popularity": a bar per brand.
More Piercing Details Four tabs for the hardware itself: Material, Type / Style, Gauge (Thickness) and Size (Length). Tap a tab to switch.

To read it: each entry shows its count, and alongside the count you can see its share of the total as a percentage, so a glance tells you both how many helix piercings you did and what proportion of all piercings that was. When you pick a value under All Materials, All Types, All Gauges or All Sizes, More Piercing Details switches to the matching tab so the filtered result is in front of you. Tap the reset icon to start again.

If nothing was logged in the range, the cards read "No entries yet" and the lists stay empty. Widen the date range or check that Piercing Details is enabled on the template.

Good to know

  • Empty fields are skipped. A submission whose Piercing Details were left blank doesn't appear in these charts.
  • Deleted templates no longer appear in the All Waiver Forms filter.
